In the previous article, we explained about closing the siphon and the necessary accessories for it.
How to connect the siphon and the drain pipe of the sink
How to install a dishwasher siphon is very simple and easy. You can use the sink manual one by one to connect the sink siphon and finish the job. In this manual, the installation of pipes is provided visually along with the map so that you can easily connect the connections and present the sink. However, some do not have the ability to do so and are misled by the many similarities between the pieces of the sink. Therefore, they can watch this tutorial to solve their problem.
To get started, place all the necessary parts and connections in front of you so that all the components are easily visible. Then follow the installation map or this tutorial one by one.
1- Connect the simple connection pipe to the top of the siphon
Among the components there is a smooth tube with one end protruding and the other end straight. Remove the tube and insert a large plastic screw. Then insert another screw in the opposite direction of the previous screw into the pipe and put a washer behind it. Insert the end of the tube that has the washer into the mouth of the siphon and insert it to a depth of five centimeters. The washer should fit snugly into the siphon opening. Then fasten the plastic screw to the head of the siphon with the cap and tighten it.
2- Connect the two-way to the simple connection pipe
Once the pipe and siphon are connected, connect the other end of the long pipe in two ways. Of course, before that, you have to put a thin washer inside the plastic screw, and then connect the screw to the two-way screw part and tighten it. Note that the plastic screws must be tightened by hand and also avoid tightening them too much.
3- Connect the hose pipe to the siphon with a screw
Take the hose pipe and insert a large screw into it to reach the end, which is a flat pipe with a protrusion at the end. Then insert a washer into the recess of the screw and close it to the other end of the siphon. Be careful when placing the washers. If the washer is not in place properly, water will leak after installation and you will have to open and close the connections again.
4- Insert the lid cover and the booger rubber into the hose
When the siphon assembly is complete, you must connect the last part of it, which is related to the connection to the sewer pipe. First, insert the conical sewer cap cover into the hose pipe. Then attach the black booger rubber to the pipe. Of course, you can connect the hood rubber to the sewer pipe located on the wall and insert the hose after finishing the work.
5- Connect the elbow connection pipe to the siphon and inlet
If your sink has placed the hinge pipe separately from the inlet, you must connect them as in the previous steps. After doing this, you must connect the inlet assembly to the siphon assembly. Using large washers and screws, connect the relevant parts to create a single set. This set consists of siphons and sewer pipes that transfer water and sewage from the siphon pelvis to the sewer pipe.
6- Connect the drain inlet to the sink
At this stage, you must place the drain inlet according to the sink plan from below in the sink hole. Because at this stage all the connections are connected, you have to place the set under the pelvis and from the inside of the sink sink, place the metal piece of the sewage inlet on the relevant hole and tighten their screws. To prevent water leakage from inside the pelvis, you should use large washers related to the opening to prevent water leakage. Tighten the opening screw with a screwdriver and tighten it well. If your sink is double-walled, you should do this for both parts.
7- Insert the end of the hose into the sewer pipe
At this stage, the installation of siphon connections has been completed, and to complete the work, you must insert the end of the hose pipe into the sewer pipe. The sewer pipe on the wall must have a booster rubber. Insert the siphon tube into the hood rubber and push it in slightly to tighten it. In addition to preventing odors from entering, this rubber also prevents beetles from entering.
You have seen that during these few steps, you can easily connect the siphon and its connections and connect it to the sink. So if you want to do this, do not worry anymore and by installing this tutorial, install the siphon yourself. If you notice water dripping from some parts after attaching the parts, you probably did not fit the washers well. Open the leaky section connections again and check the washers. If there seems to be no problem, fix the leaking gaskets with a little Teflon tape.
